Art & Antiques Fair opens the doors in the imposing Grote Kerk of Naarden-Vesting during the last weekend of January. For more than 20 years Art & Antiques Fair Weekend has offered a great diversity of Old, Modern and Contemporary Art. The fair showcases 65 exhibitors in Naarden including Dutch Masters, Dutch Silver, Dutch furniture, paintings with Dutch skies, Dutch tulip vases, Dutch glass art, Dutch jewellery design, Dutch artists, etc. The atmospheric art fair in Naarden is known to the general public as the best Art & Antiques Fair in the Netherlands. Gallery McSorley invites you to our Spring Exhibit and the Art Route Vecht River and Lake District May 20-21
During the Art Route May 20 - 21, Gallery McSorley shows work of artists living in the Netherlands, such as Ad Arma, Jan van Lokhorst, Aat Veldhoen, Lieuwe Kingma, Beatrice de Lehxy, Will Kellerman , sculpture of Jaap Hartman, Paul Kubic, glass art of Mari Mészàros, Sabine Lintzen, Willem van Oijen and Richard Price. There are new works by international artists, such as Birgit Huttemann-Holz, Mark Kadota, Ľubomír Ferko, Marcel Taton and Katarzyna Karbownik. Birgit Holz exhibits Weight of orchids series are colorful and flowery works on hand made paper with the old technique applied of beeswax, pigments and resin. . Many of Taton's new sculptures are assemblages of Murano-glass withbronze combining figurative and surrealistic elements in his artwork. Taton's sculpture remind us of both the humour and pathos of the human condition.
